I purchased two of these to display decorated cupcakes. They are very lightweight-many people think they are plastic, they do not feel like glass at all. Other than that, this is a good buy if you can get it for around $12 with shipping! Also, check other stores, like Macy's that put these on clearance every now and then.

I purchased this dessert dome to be part of a display at my shop and I'm very happy with it. The stem is delicate and beautiful. It is large enough to hold a variety of tasty treats and it keeps dust and particles out. Exactly what I was looking for.

It didn't describe the paper as contact paper. I did not want contact paper. I wanted shelf liner. I will make do.
