This is a quality, solid cake stand. We purchased it to use for our wedding and put 3-4" thick cheesecakes (6", 9", and 12" diameters) on the tiers. They were pretty dense and heavy, but not at all a problem. The stand came with clear, rubbery "grips" to slide onto the rings which kept cake boards from sliding. This stand was elegant and simple. It didn't interfere with or detract from the decorations of the cakes. Definitely the best combination of price and quality for our needs!

We had mousse cake for our wedding, which you can't stack (no stability). With this cake stand we got to have the feel of a tiered cake, and the photos, but still the delicious mousse cake which we love. It held up well, was strong, and looked nice.

I bought this Cake Stand, and receive it couples of days ago, since I am not in the US. Once I got this, the 4 little metal balls below stand, 1 is missing. Trying to see where to contact seller, and no way to do it to have this replace ASAP. the stand won't stand still since a missing part.
