We custom made an oversize cake stand for the President Bush's niece with the son of fashion icon Ralph Lauren in Colorado on Sept. 5th, 2011.
This is an elegant square cake stand especially designed and hand-crafted by experienced artisans in our factory to adorn and dazzle your wedding or any other Special Events cake (birthdays, anniversary, holiday, retirement, party, showers, christening, etc.).
?The size is 16" by 16" and about 6" height. It can accommodate a 12"-16" base cake for celebrating wedding, anniversary, or a birthday or any other special party/event on a grand scale.
?This classic cake stand is made of a strong Aluminum sheet. This enables the stand to withstand the weight of several layers of cakes without the fear of buckling when it is used properly.
?Plated with expensive nickel metal to give a durable and glittering silver-look finish that will last for years under normal usage conditions. But unlike silver, nickel plating is 100% tarnish-free so you don't have to clean with silver polish again.

The stand is beautiful. It will embellish your beautiful cake. The only minus is that is kind of limping on one of the side. My hubby is going to try to fix it that way I do not have to return it.

This is a nice platform. Sturdy, yet not heavy. Straight level top which is hard to get from some platform sellers. (Several of the platforms I've purchased from different sellers have pronounced bowing in the center, and have had to return a couple as unusable.) But this one from this seller is nice. Sides are connected to top with brads. Nickel colored, not quite as shiny silver as I'd like but will still polish up nicely and be beautiful under my cakes.
