This is a pretty and simple cake dome. The quality is good. However, if you are looking for a dome to cover layer cakes such as the one shown in the photo, this will not work. It is not tall enough and the way the top is rounded makes it even more unusable for taller cakes. It would only work for something like a Bundt cake or for stacking brownies. It is not wide enough to cover a pie plate. To Amazon's credit, it did arrive in perfect condition.

This was exactly what I had been looking for. It looks perfect on the counter and holds baked goods very nicely. We live in a very humid climate and yet this Dome held a chocolate cake perfectly for 5 days - the grandsons had demolished it by then!

The photo of this item is of better quality than the actual item. The product came out of the box flawed - air bubbles throughout the lid. I would not recommend this item for purchase. I sent the item back to amazon.
