Seems nice. I have yet to use it, but I have pulled it from the box and assembled it. It was easy to assemble (3 pieces). Note that the bottom piece, that holds 7 cupcakes, is one piece, with it's upright. Then, the next piece, that holds 5 cupcakes, is one piece with its upright, and then finally the piece that holds 3 cupcakes with an upright with one cupcake at the top.There is no "base" to this - the part that holds 7 cupcake *is* the base. Not a problem necessarily, just a surprise to me. Also, was a little disappointed that I can only break this thing down so far. I had hoped that the cupcake sections were flats and that the uprights screwed into the cupcake layers. But the uprights are made into the cupcake layers - so it is rather bulky to pack away.Otherwise, seems nice.Update 12/31/12:Ok, still like it, but want to be sure and let the potential buyer know that the distance between layers on this stand is significant. The good news (and the reason why I purchased it) is that it will hold full-sized cupcakes with fancy icing. The bad news (which I experienced because the cupcakes I ordered were of the smaller variety) is that if you make/order smaller cupcakes, then the stand will dwarf them and they'll look a wee bit tiny. I had thought I was ordering full-sized cupcakes. I actually was pleasantly surprised that the ones I picked up were the smaller size (less waste and not as many calories) - but when I placed them on the stand I was dismayed that they seemed so small. By my calcs, the distance between the laers is about 5.5 inches. The cupcakes I puirchased were no more than 3 inches tall. Not a fault of the stand - just wanted to point ths out. BTW, in reading teh reviews of other stands on Amazon, one of the regular complaints I saw was people saying that their full-sized cupcakes were not fitting in the stand and they had to smush them together or reduce their icing overhead. You definitely won't have that problem with this stand!
