Considering this cupcake stand was $17 when I purchased it - I was expecting a lot better quality. It isn't one solid piece, the base is glued very sloppily to the plate. The base of the stand while it fits in the space isn't an exact fit and you can even see some of the glue. Very poor craftmanship! If you never turn it upside down - it's darling and I suppose officially as described... but buy beware it really is ONLY for a standard size cupcake - larger ones just aren't going to hold up on this little thing. For $17 while I don't expect the size to change, I certainly expected better quality. I would not recommend this product. If it dropped down to $10, I'd give it 3 stars.

As a recent cake plate addict, I could hardly wait to add these petite beauties to my growing collection. They are in beautiful pastel colors and look great with larger plates, but . . . they are tiny. Miniscule. I guess when I read the description I was thinking they were large enough to hold a 4" cake but all these baby stands will hold is a cupcake. My first inclination was to return them, but I showed them to women I work with, all of whom responded with remarks such as: "these are so cute." "aren't they adorable." "you must keep them." So I guess I will.

I love this product. Very true to color. But, I did not expect it to be so tiny. I considered returning, but it's adorable and I'm sure I can figure out something to do with it. I guess I'm not the only one surprised by the size.. guess I'll pay better attention next time.Nice product however.
