My fiancee and I purchased this stand for our wedding croquembouche (kinda like a cake but made out of cream puffs). We were looking for something sturdy but visually stunning, to complement the uniqueness of our "cake" and this stand delivered! It was light-weight but very strong and the finish/design was even better in person than on the website. It really helped our "cake" stand out on our special day. And it was delivered a couple days ahead of schedule so we didn't have to worry about it arriving in time.

I received this cake plateau and notice a long scratch that is in the side almost the entire circumference of the stand. I'm a bit disappointed.

This truly is a beautiful piece. As other reviewers have said the picture doesn't do the stand justice. When I walked into the room it was in my initiate reaction was "wow! that's beautiful". Shipped to us in perfect condition, no dents or scratches. It will be used for my oldest daughters wedding in April and I'm keeping it for my younger daughters future wedding. She loves it too!
