I have recieved this item among 12 other items i have purchased from Gracie China.This beautiful cake stand came in coompletely shattered!!! It had been packaged with paper protection, I guess the people that package this fine product should know better by now. The other items I recieved that had the plastic bubble wrapper came in perfect conditions. I am really sad becasue I really wanted to use it.

First order, item was shattered. Ordered a replacement and item was damaged again. The box was flimsy and the packaging is terrible. Very disappointed!

After reading several reviews about these cake stands arriving shattered, I was hesitant to order them. However, I have enough time before I need them that I thought I'd be able to return them in time. They arrived today and all four are fine. Evidently someone listened to the reviews and they are packed in a Styrofoam container inside a box with air bumpers protecting them in the box. Worked like a charm! They are lovely; I am making 4 little cakes for a wedding reception and wanted these. Can't wait to use them.
