Amazon has a good price on this item. It's sturdy; the locks on the lid are excellent. I've had a different brand carrier let go and lost a lot of work in the middle of the street! The turntable locks as a function of the latches, so that's super for travel. The tray lifts out for a nice presentation. Having to not buy a separate turntable was a real plus since you can do all of our work on this base. The caddy accomodates a 9 inch cake with plenty of room to spare and is very tall. I couldn't find my old Tupperware cake taker and so I bought this. Assuming I find the old cake taker, I'm going to sell it at the next garage sale. This item is the bomb!

Saw a demo on this at Wilton Cake Decorating Basics. I don't know how I ever decorated a cake without it.Tall enough for a 3 layer cake with room to spare. Diameter is limited to a 10 inch cake round.
