As a recent cake plate addict, I could hardly wait to add these petite beauties to my growing collection. They are in beautiful pastel colors and look great with larger plates, but . . . they are tiny. Miniscule. I guess when I read the description I was thinking they were large enough to hold a 4" cake but all these baby stands will hold is a cupcake. My first inclination was to return them, but I showed them to women I work with, all of whom responded with remarks such as: "these are so cute." "aren't they adorable." "you must keep them." So I guess I will.

This little cupcake stand is so sweet and petit! Perfect for 1 little (standard sized) cupcake. I love serving bowls, dishes, cake stands, platters and anything you use to host a party. I had to have this and I want another one. Anything miniature is always cute!

So maybe it's my fault for not paying close attention to the exact dimensions of this stand, but it's so small that it's worthless to me. Thank goodness Amazon was nice and returned my money without making me send it back. I guess it's cute if you have money to blow on lots of them to make them actually useful.
