My husband just bought me a pink Cupcake Carousel this week from an H.E.B grocery store in Kyle, TX. Since I love pink and love all things cupcake I was very excited. I just spent the last 2 hours preparing for and making cupcakes and frosting all from scratch to go and surprise my mom at her job in the morning.I carefully placed the cupcakes in their individual stackable holders and was thrilled to see that even with the toppings they still had enough room to keep from touching and that the cups were so deep that they would not fall and tilt on the way to see my mom tomorrow.I made sure to securely fasten the clasps and made sure it was on right. I grabbed the product by the handle with about to put my other hand underneath and the entire thing cracked and fell spilling all my cupcakes all over the kitchen floor.Now I did notice that the handle seemed a bit flimsy and thin for the size of the Cupcake Carousel...but I figured "surely they wouldn't make, test, and sell something like this that couldn't manage to hold the very thing it was created for". It appears I was very wrong.Is there anyway I could have just received a bad one?I didn't see an FAQ on the website so I'm not sure how to go about asking for a replacement or my money back!

I had the same issues as the other reviewer. The carrier broke the very first time I used it destroying hours of work baking and decorating cupcakes. What a complete piece of garbage, don't waste your money.
Disappointed
I gave this item to my girlfriend as a gift. Sadly when put through such "strenuous" tasks as inserting cupcakes, closing the top and attempting to carry the "Cupcake Caddy", this item could not handle the requirements placed upon it. On the other hand this item does have an interesting "Pop Open and Dump" feature in which the Caddy will unexpectedly open halfway and dump all of its contents onto the ground, creating a huge mess for its owner to clean up. The pink container portion of the caddy also is made of incredibly fragile plastic so when the top pops away with no advance notice to the user and the bottom subsequently drops on the ground the container portion will crack, making the whole item useless.So now my girlfriend needs a new cupcake carrier....next time I'll go with a more sturdy material like metal....
